Skinny, Fit and Fabulous™ promotes different brands and companies via affiliate links and paid promotions. All opinions are ours. Our number one goal is to share our story about being skinny, fit and fabulous. You know, loving the body we are blessed with and hopefully help others on their journey. There will be articles with promotions to different brands and services we use or that we try.

Finding time to exercise should be priority. Let's stop with all the excuses and get back on track.

Finding time to exercise has been a struggle since our move.  It just seems like my schedule can never stay in sync to allow the time to exercise.  Is it the schedule or me making an excuse?  Do you struggle with finding time to exercise or you do make excuses?

The other morning my husband woke me up.  Dude was tripping.  He flipped on all the lights in our bedroom and master bathroom.  He started talking and said, “you need to wake up!”  “What time is it?”  I thought I had overslept.  He said, “it’s 5:30!  You need to go down to the gym and workout!”  You talking about someone HOT!  Boy, you better go on somewhere.  My alarm goes off at 5:35 every morning.  I then roll over to turn it off, only to have another one go off at 6 in which I continue hitting snooze three times for a total of 15 mins before grabbing the phone to check out Facebook news.  Don’t judge me.  lol

Not having time and needing my sleep are excuses for me.  Finding time to exercise should be one of my top priorities.  Instead, it’s one of my top excuses in life.

Here’s a good video I came across with some great tips on how to find time to exercise.  There are days we are busy, but we should never be CRAZY BUSY 365 days a year.  FIND THE TIME!

If I may, I want to add one more…STOP MAKING EXCUSES!  Talking to myself too.

Exercise offers so much greatness to your life.  Coming from someone who was extremely active as a kid and teen to someone who didn’t do much as an adult and then back to being active in the sense of working out and then back to nothing.  I see a big difference in how I feel in general.  I also see a difference in how my clothes fit.  Being skinny comes with proper fit struggles just like others, and it felt good to have my back, arms, and booty looking FABulous in my clothes.  But most importantly, there was a difference in energy level and my mood. I felt better overall.

We find time for things we want to do.  So, why not find time for something that we need to do for our health.  Heck, we should want to do it for our health.

For accountability, join me at my Facebook Group for an accountability thread every Friday.  No, I’m no fitness coach and not going to try to sell you any workout plan, nutrition info, etc.  Just some fun and encouragement.   And yeah, articles I write here.  You may also want to follow me at my Facebook Page for other greatness.  We’re on this journey together!
